Hotel Valpre - Ecully

Newly renovated rooms with stunning views, a beautiful bathroom, and incredibly friendly staff.

Got exceptionally clean family room with good breakfast when arrived, appreciated that. It was nice having central heating, a work desk, and a TV. The vibe here was family! The hotel was in a central setting close to the downtown.

Wonderful hotel with great staff for a restful stay. Recently renovated room, soft bed, clean bathroom. Good restaurant for outstanding meal.

Booked it for 1 day and had a very relaxing experience. the triple room was brand-new with a really beautiful bathroom. Beautiful views and tea were a nice touch. Having a hair dryer, a walk-in shower, and fresh towels was a bonus.

the bed was confortable.

There was no reception after 22:00. The breakfast buffet was very limited and the bathrooms could be cleaner. Disappointed comparing reality with pictures from the web.

Expect basic and indifference and you will be satisfied. The breakfast was okay, however. This hotel appears to be a conference centre and seems geared for low to mid tier conference clientele.

This place is compact, neat, and offers a good breakfast.

cost performance and tidy room

The hotel staff were highly cooperative.

Absence of in-house restraunts. They were not prepared for the snow - could not bring up the taxis for pick up.

I appreciated every detail about my excellent 4 nights stay here. Thanks to the friendly and courteous staff, I had a brand-new double room with views of the garden. the hotel had a central position to big conferences. the place was modern and quiet, no complaints, would recommend.

The hotel was good, it was clean and it was in a quiet area. It wasn't amazing but if you need somewhere to stay for one or two night this hotel will do the job. It was a good price and the breakfast was included. It was quite warm in the room. The breakfast was good. Overall, it was a good experience.

They didn´t speak English or Spanish, just French. So it was a challenge asking for a hairdryer (which they didn´t have). But it is fair enough, if we are in France they doný have to speak a different language. Besides this, the staff was very helpful and tried their best to understand.

Cleanliness and surroundings were most pleasant. The room was a little small but very comfortable.

On arrival the staff we saw did not speak english and the restrant was not open for an evening meal which meant we had to leave to find our food. When we checked out the guy on reception spoke perfect english and was most helpful. Would stay again but would check first if evening meal would be available.

We stayed there for a day and had a great time, especially enjoyed the convenient location near the center of Lyon and public transportation.

Much better than we had expected,great shower,very good bed, fantasy breakfast.

Wish there had been staff on duty when we had arrived.It was really strange booking myself in.

The staff was kind and the room clean.

The hotel has an old appearance and looks like a rest house. The metro station was about 1 Km far from the hotel (on foot) and to reach the hotel you have to walk up a steep climb.
